1. What is eIMAGE Recovery? Top
eIMAGE Recovery is a tool for helping you to recover any type of images that have been accidentally deleted or damaged. Easy to use with unique powerful functionality that can take any digital film card, Compact Flash, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Secure Digital Card, MMC, Intelligent Stick, USB Flash Disk, USB Drive, Flash Drive, USB Pen Drive, iStick, Secure Digital Card, xD Picture Card, USB Flash Drive, USB Flash Card, SD (Sandisk), Microdrive, PC Card, Memory Stick Pro Duo Card, DiskOnModule (DOM) from any manufacturer, and using specialized software and/or hardware utilities can recover your lost images and media files.

2. Is it hard to use? Do I need to be a technical genius to use it? Top
eIMAGE Recovery is very powerful, but extremely easy to use. Even a novice computer user will find it's easy to recover your digital images or media files. Though easy to use, eIMAGE Recovery has enough advanced features for any power user.

3. How Data Loss Happens? Top
There are 10,000 data losses per day. Most of the time data loss is caused by human error. It can also result from hard or floppy disc failure, attack from malicious programs, viruses, system crashes & other things such as deliberate sabotage.

4. Does eIMAGE Recovery work directly with my camera/printer/device? Top
It may, but there is no guarantee that it will. Card readers are popping up everywhere, there is no way we can test all devices with eIMAGE Recovery. That is why the recommended configuration is an external dedicated USB or Firewire card reader.

5. I already purchased the product, where is my software? Top
When you purchase the software through our website, it is only for the purchase of an unlock code for the demo version of the software. No physical CD or box will be sent. You must first download the demo of the program you want and then enter the username and registration code that you will receive via email. For example, enter your "Name" and "Registration Key" in this dialog (see from picture) which found under button in eIMAGE Recovery Window.

6. The recovered pictures came up "DAMAGED" label across the image. Is there a way to recover damaged images? Top
If files come out labeled "damaged", these files are damaged and you cannot get them back in good quality. Usually these damaged files are corrupt and cannot show as pictures. eIMAGE Recovery can only recover your lost files but cannot fix the damaged files. In addition, it can recognize the damaged files and show as the "Damaged" label across only on picture file types (e.g., *.jpg or *.gif). For other media files such as *.avi or *.mov, it cannot check on-the-fly whether they are corrupted until you save and try to play your media files.

7. The software does not find my camera as a drive. How to scan the card in my camera? Top
eIMAGE Recovery works with every type of digital card reader appearing as a drive letter in your local PC. Please look at you camera manufacturer if it supports a special driver software that will show the sd card as a logical Windows drive. If no driver is supported you can buy a memory card reader. There are
several types: for notebooks (PC-CARD / PCMCIA) and for PCs (USB, IDE).

Important:
If your camera can show as a windows drive, you should plug your camera into the computer before start program or click on "Rescan drive list" Button.
